Anxiety what is the best cure for this illness?
Get away from whatever is causing it. OK… that’s not the cure. You need to overcome your fears, whether it’s "being on the spot" or fear of failure. You’ll have to put yourself in the position and tough it out until you are comfortable with it.
God is the best cure for our anxiety. In 1Peter 5:7 we are reminded to "cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you".

The first thing you can do is not look at this as an illness. Anxiety is a choosen reaction to a set of circumstances. Although it is a choice it is not a deliberate one, it is simply what you have learnt to do over a lifetime through your teachers, which is usually your parents and from your environmental pressures and lessons on how you need to be perfect. Anxiety is merely a symptom of being disconnected from love. It is a feeling of a lack of love that overwhelms you because you feel you are not meeting the standards you have accepted. These standards can be as simple as being the responsible one or being the high achiever or being independant…it defines your mask of being perfect. So begin by changing your standards by focusing always on what you do right…allow your imperfection to be perfect. Set yourself up for spiritual time so you can reconnect with your spirit and who you really are without the mask {which we all have as a form of survival}, understand that you are safe when you follow your spiritual choices. Learn more about yourself by taking personality tests. Then you can determine where you get your highest energy. Extroverts energize through interaction with others, you might not, so always plan on finding quiet places an quiet things to do to recharge. Finally if none of this works, get Ed Bourne’s book on Anxiety, do the lessons and you will find it is extrememly effective.
