Whats a good treatment for anxiety?

I have a terrible anxiety disorder that I’d like to do something about, but I’d really rather stay away from any pharmaceutical drugs that I’ve been recommended.
Any suggestions?

Deep breathing exercises work well. Counseling will also help a great deal more than you will imagine.

Best of Luck,

Mark

Sydney.. I am with you.. I have had alot of Stress take place in my life last year to the point I started having Anxiety Attacks.. It is SO GOOD and helps alot to talk to a Psychologist…… and it should be an benefit of your Medical Insurance…. Also Breath… When I start getting that feeling.. I just try to breath.. and depending on the situation.. I try to do something else to distract myself.. or I just stop what I am doing and try to relax… "which is sometimes hard" because sometimes I AM relaxed.. but my Dr. said it could be something in the back of your mind that triggers an attack… Also.. KNOW your surroundings and the situation you are in… Drinking Water sometimes helps as well…
