Does anyone have a safe home remedy for anxiety?
You can try positive self talking. close your eyes and try to relax your body. Repeat a few words or a sentence to yourself such that will help calm you. An example may be "I am strong, calm and capable"
Also, try imagining a calming situation or place close your eyes and see it. Do this until you feel yourself relax.
Reducing the amount of stimulating factors in your environment is helpful in reducing anxiety. Turn off the television/phone, get to a quiet, dark, cool place to relax and regain control of your thoughts.
If you try these things, and still cannot stop the anxiety, you should see a doctor, you may have what is called Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and left untreated, may lead to a panic disorder.
Good luck to you and happy relaxing!

This is going to sound a little strange, but I found that I have much less anxiety when I avoid carbs, sugar & alcohol. I have had bouts of anxiety since I was a teenager and a few years ago I went on a low carb diet to lose a few pounds. I was amazed to discover that my anxiety levels went way down.

Logic was the only solution for me… Whenever I felt nervous about something, I’d ask myself if it made sense to be nervous about it. Did I REALLY think something was going to happen? What are the actual odds? Are people really paying that much attention to me? It helped me a bunch, and I haven’t had to take medication for years.
