How can i overcome from Anxiety depression?
I am suffuring from this from birth.Now i am 31years.Now i am getting citalopram hydrobromide 30mg.For that it feel better.If somebody know pls tell me how to cure this illness with out tablets or ECT.Is there a natural way?Is meditation O.K?

Celexa is for anxiety and depression and should help to alleviate your stress and depression.
ECT is only used as a last resort–when all other medications and treatment have not worked.
depression is a disease and is never really 'cured'–but it can be controlled and helped alot with medication, therapy and other things.
Many people use meditation to help–also exercise and talking with trusted friends, family. being around other people and getting involved in things helps to lift your mood too.

Try Tai Chi. Its first and foremost a martial art that has a lot of health benefits. Anyone that thinks its just a health exercise has no idea what Tai Chi really is. Tai Chi has been known to balance out emotional problems. It doesnt happen overnite but its drug free. Good luck

Counseling and medication may be the answer. It has worked for me and others I know. I take Cymbalta and Klonopin and it seems to do wonders, I feel great! If you haven't tried counseling, I would suggest it.

Having dealt with anxiety from the age of 13 (I'm now 30) I can relate with what you are going through. There are a variety of different ways to help your anxiety that do not involve ECT. I know it can seem like the end of the world when you have dealt with it for so long but it isn't.
Yes, meditation is a great help for anxiety and learning what relaxation feels like, so that you can hopefully learn to trigger those feelings during your panic attacks.
There are some herbs that can help with minor anxiety, but if your's is as severe as it sounds, behavioral therapy would be your best natural option.
I myself have found that medication is my best solution because I have a natural lack of seratonin that I can't do much about.

It is funny that you ask this. I actually just read an article about this subject last night. The author said the best way to heal anxiety is to do it through natural methods and not medication. I will leave the link to the article is the source box.
