What’s the point of life if you’re not LIVING?
So many people suffer from depression, anxiety, some people just worry too much, and are afraid of risk.
You only live once…so live it to the fullest.
Remember that next time you’re depressed. The mind is a very powerful tool, and can overcome depression and anxiety I truly believe.
Mia…I’m not preaching…what I’m saying is the truth…and so many people are bogged down by psychological disorders that it should be pretty alarming. There’s an easy solution to it.
I think you’re correct about so many people suffering from depression and anxiety. But there may be good reason.
Our human nature demands that our lives be worthy of living.
"There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. Deciding whether or not life is worth living is to answer the fundamental question in philosophy. All other questions follow from that." (Philosopher Albert Camus - 1942)
Your phrase, "You only live once…so live it to the fullest" has no meaning if there is no ultimate point to life. We run around in big circles or small circles, fast or slow. What’s the point? Just biological living doesn’t give a point to life. All the LIVING life to the fullest does is to keep us busy so we wont think about our pointless existence.
Life can only have a point if there is God who created us for a reason.

The more apt question would be, "What’s the point of being in a coffin if you are dead?"

It’s not your place to judge anyone, don’t tell other people how to live their lives, live yours the way you want to & don’t preach to people that may not want to be preached at. People are different & individuals and we all have different lives, all of us have different things to overcome and some people have lived through horrors. Let people grieve/deal with their lives the way they want to in their own time.
